Traveling to Hong Kong? Choose Regal Hotels International

To foster friendship and camaraderie and to further promote Hong Kong among Filipino travelers, Regal Hotels International recently feted representatives from Philippine media and a celebrity influencer to their well-loved properties.

Regala Skycity Hotel located at Lantau Island, the newest property of the hotel chain, and the famed Regal Hong Kong Hotel in Causeway Bay, played gracious hosts to select members of the media and Sparkle artist Ashley Ortega. Both top brass of the hotels personally welcomed them and made sure they would be properly attended during their four-day stay and tour of the areas nearby.

Regala Skycity Hotel: New and vibrant!

Regala Skycity Hotel is a new and vibrant hospitality brand that provides a place for celebration and harmonious living, adding allure to the island. Regala boasts over 1,200 guest rooms, three diverse restaurants serving cuisines from around the globe, a beautifully designed grand ballroom and two banquet halls perfect for weddings and conventions, state-of-the-art wellness facilities, children’s entertainment spaces, games rooms and more. It is ideal for MICE, weddings, social gatherings, staycations, as well as individual business and leisure travels.

Situated in the dynamic and exciting SKYCITY – a captivating new retail, dining and entertainment destination which opened in 2023 next to Hong Kong International Airport – Regala is conveniently positioned for those looking to explore Hong Kong, Macau and Shenzhen, or attend world-class events in the region. The hotel is directly connected to AsiaWorld-Expo — one of the world’s premier exhibition and entertainment venues and 11 SKIES — Hong Kong’s largest all-in retailtainment landmark with barely a two-minute walk via the enclosed footbridge and is just a short ride away from Hong Kong International Airport via the Airport Express or the hotel’s free shuttle bus.

Guests will be able to reach Hong Kong’s Central District in less than half an hour aboard the Airport Express, the much-loved Hong Kong Disneyland in 15 minutes via taxi, and easily travel throughout the Greater Bay Area as The Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macau Bridge and Tuen Mun Chek Lap Kok Link are only a few minutes away by car.

The hotel presents diverse dining options via its three trendsetting and stylish restaurants: Petra, Vivace, and The Jade. The spacious all-day-dining restaurant Petra offers interactive and mesmerizing live cooking stations but it also serves international cuisine through a contactless ordering system, ranging from authentic Southeast Asian fare to exotic Indian curries, Japanese delicacies and more.

Vivace is an energetic bar and grill that takes guests on an unforgettable Mediterranean culinary voyage set amongst a Spanish-inspired scene of colorful stained glass and Iberian ceramic tiles. Recognized for its impeccable interior designed by Alexander Wong, the vibrant restaurant picked up a silver award for outstanding interior design at the Build4Asia Awards 2022.

The hotel’s authentic Chinese restaurant, the Jade, presents exquisite delicacies in a plush environment enhanced by artistic features and breathtaking sea views. As a true representation of Chinese culinary fare, the Jade brings together China’s dynamic regional cuisine ranging from Canton, Beijing, Zhejiang, Sichuan and more. Private dining spaces are available to elevate any gathering or occasion.

Regala hosted the meals of the media group in the three restaurants for them to savor an exquisite dining experience in the hotel.

Regal Hong Kong Hotel is the place to be in Causeway Bay

Meanwhile, Regal Hong Kong Hotel is the place to be in Causeway Bay. A world-class international meeting and conference venue, its large pillar-free grand hotel ballroom has been the main attraction and a conversation piece in Hong Kong through the years. It has 30 function rooms including the Executive Conference Centre located in the basement of the hotel.

The Hotel is just a 5-minute walk from Causeway Bay MTR Station. This 5-star hotel features a rooftop pool, a state-of-the-art gym and spectacular city views. Moreover, the Hotel’s Superior Rooms — with lavish European Baroque style and tastefully furnished with spacious 25-meter layouts — set the standard for first-class hotel accommodation featuring 1 queen or 2 twin beds.

Causeway Bay is one of Hong Kong’s most dynamic shopping districts, bustling with life and commerce, that borders Wan Chai to the west and North Point to the east. It is located at the entrance of Cross-Harbour Tunnel and Aberdeen Tunnel, providing convenient access to Kowloon and Southern District.

But tourists really don’t need to go to Kowloon to shop and dine, as our group had experienced. Everything’s there in Causeway Bay as the group experienced in November 2023: a five-minute walk from the hotel instantly transported them to shopping haven, to huge shopping malls like Hysan Place, Lee Gardens, Sogo, Times Square, IKEA, and other fashion malls offering big bargains and sales at the time of our visit. Regal Hotel is also located near Street Market to buy souvenirs, street food, dim sum and roast goose stalls.

With a rich heritage dating back to 1979, Regal Hotels International offers travelers extraordinary services and luxury amenities. Its portfolio consists of over 8,200 rooms and about 60 restaurants and bars, Regal is one of the largest hotel operators in Hong Kong, with an expanding presence in other cities of Mainland China. Aside from Regal Hong Kong Hotel and Regala, the hotel chain also manages Regal Airport Hotel, Regal Kowloon Hotel, Regal Riverside Hotel, Regal Oriental Hotel, iclub Fortress Hill Hotel, iclub Sheung Wan Hotel, iclub Mong Kok Hotel, iclub Wan Chai Hotel, iclub To Kwa Wan Hotel, and iclub AMTD Sheung Wan Hotel in Hong Kong.
