The Department of International Trade Promotion (DITP) under Thailand’s Ministry of Commerce, through the Thai Trade Center in Manila, announced the success of the Thailand Week 2023 held from 30 March – 2 April 2023 at hall 4, SMX convention center Manila. It was the first on-site version and the great comeback after the pandemic.
The event brought around 80 (eighty) Thai and Philippine exhibitors showcasing high-quality products from food and beverage, health & beauty products, household products, fashion & lifestyles, gems & jewellery, and many more.

Thailand Week 2023 was overwhelmingly welcomed by Filipino consumers and businesses, attracting more than 7,500 visitors and generating significant sales. Moreover, the exhibitors and importers anticipate to continuously conduct their businesses with one another thanks to the event. The best-selling products included food, jewellery products, household products, and fashion accessories.

For more than a decade, Thailand Week has been enthusiastically embraced by Filipino shoppers/buyers and foreign residents in the Philippines. In Thailand week 2023, the event was a success for everyone. For visitors, they were able to access and purchase the finest quality products at affordable prices from numerous exhibitors. Moreover, the visitors could also appreciate and gain a first-hand experience of Thai culture by witnessing exotic Thai cultural performances. They were also able to taste authentic Thai food and enjoy the Thai hospitality via food demonstration activities, joined by the accredited Thai SELECT restaurants.




For businessmen, the Thailand Week 2023 allowed them to explore endless opportunities, establish long-lasting partnerships, and advance trade ties by bringing the best of Thai products to the Philippines as the event was also a platform where Thai exporters and Filipino importers could engage and conduct their businesses successfully. A wide range of high-quality products were introduced in this event. Also, many business deals were secured during the event.

Most importantly, Thailand Week 2023 acted as a bridge that connected Thailand and the Philippines both economically and culturally. It helps two countries advance the trade relations and cultural understanding between each other, which will lead to strategic partnership and strong friendship ultimately.
In 2022, the total trade between Thailand and the Philippines has reached $11.22 billion and the Philippines ranks 14th among the trading partner of Thailand.
