September 20, 2023, Manila – Global apparel retailer UNIQLO today announces the October 6 launch of the new Uniqlo U 2023 Fall/Winter collection designed by Artistic Director Christophe Lemaire and his UNIQLO R&D team in Paris.
The new Uniqlo U offers easy, chic, elevated utilitarian staples. Christophe Lemaire summarizes the collection in this way, “to make clothes that are like good friends – nothing that constrains you, nothing that disguises you.” It is an elegant interpretation of LifeWear providing an optimal balance of functionality and relaxed comfort, which paired with beautiful coloring and sophisticated silhouettes will help you look effortless chic.
Padded coats, lambswool knits, and cozy flannel and fleece delivery warmth and comfort. The combination of relaxed, soft silhouettes and clean lines offers an unbound, genderless style. A color palette of rich browns and rusts, charcoal and gray, beige and off-white, complete the foundation of the essential Uniqlo U style.
Women
Jersey tailored jackets and pants make a sophisticated look with relaxed comfort. Striped lining peeking out from the rolled-up jacket sleeves is a distinctive Uniqlo U touch. The brushed jersey turtleneck T-shirt has beautiful flowing curved sleeves, with narrow ribbed cuffs and hem to complete an elegant look.
Men
The padded single breasted coat and short-length padded volume jacket both feature a relaxed silhouette that loosely envelops the body, but with precisely measured, beautiful lines and profiles that make them genderless. Both items are also water repellent.
Accessories
The classic drawstring bag returns in a smaller size, along with a simple yet practical backpack, and casual mini messenger bag.
