Jenny Miller: “I Still Believe In Forever…If The Right Man Comes Along.”

” There was a time in life that I was contemplating of commiting suicide. I was really devastated. I think that was 2016 when my marriage failed and I decided na makipaghiwalay na sa asawa ko. This was also the time that my father was diagnosed with liver cancer. We were told by the doctor to prepare Php10,000.00 for his daily medication. And I was the breadwinner of the family. And during that time, madalang na ang offers kasi may asawa.na ako. But na lang, we were able to find a cheaper medicine. And my father is doing better now, at puede nang tanggalin yung tumor kasi lumiit na.”

Come February 5, actress and livestreamer Jenny Miller will be turning 43, and she will be having  a birthday bash on February 4 with good friends and family. It will be her first time to celebrate this big since she will be inviting 100 visitors, and she will be wearing a Francis Libiran design. Not only that, she also prepared a dance production number to welcome her guests. And this party is organized and a treat to her by a family friend, Dr. Emily Otani, a Filipino businesswoman based in Chicago, USA. And the celebrator couldn’t thank her Nay Emily enough for the celebration.
“Actually, my plan was the usual,  just a simple dinner and fun  with close friends and family in a simple restaurant, but because of this blessing and organized party, naisip ko na rin na ituloy kasi dahil sa pandemic, siguro we really need to celebrate to thank God and our loved ones that we are still together at tuloy lang ang buhay ” she shared.

Jenny started her showbiz career on ABS-CBN in 2001, where she was a regular cast of “Whattamen,” and “Buttercup” in 2003. A year after, she was part of “Marina.” But in 2007, she transferred to GMA 7 and joined Jean Garcia in “Impostura.” And in 2008 she got a hefty role in the TV drama “Babangun Ako at Dudurugin Kita.” And the rest, as they say, is history.
And in 2010, Jenny met the man of her dreams, a non-showbiz businessman (buy-and-sell cars),  and got married after living together for a year. They were a happy married-couple for five years, until one day, she realized that something was not right anymore in the relationship.

“Nagkaroon s’ya ng depression because of a wrong investment. Masyado na s’yang affected at hanggang Di na n’ya nakayanan, at napabayaan na n’ya ang business n’ya. And that’s how our marital problem started. I tried to save our marriage for years, until it came into a point na hindi ko na rin kaya. I’m just thankful to Ms. Angela de Leon, kasi when I shared to her my problems, she invited me to attend their bible study sessions. At dun ako nagkaroon ng realization regarding my marriage. Our church wedding has been annulled na, and hopefully this year ma-approve na yung civil wedding annullment namin,” said the actress.

During the early months of the pandemic, Jenny was encouraged to join the livestreaming (Bigo)craze, especially among showbiz personalities and celebrities.
“Ang brother ko kasi (Eian Frances of “PBB 10″), was really active sa Kumu. At dahil wala naman trabaho at bawal ang taping that time, sumali na rin ako. At nag e-enjoy ako kasi you got the chance to talk to your fans all over the  world. At nakakatuwa kasi they are willing to share their blessings at yung iba talagang magpapadala s iyo ng kung anu-ano, lalo na yung mga andito lang sa Pilipinas. And to be honest with you, dito lang ako naka-ipon ng savings, kasi Di ka lumalabas. At ako mag-isa, no driver at housemaid. Ako lahat ang gumagawa sa bahay. At hanggang ngayon, if I have time, nag la-livestream pa rin ako. Talagang malaking tulong sa amin. Ang brother ko nakabili ng bagong car at nagpapatayo ng sarili n’yang bahay,” she stressed.

Now that she’s single, Jenny is planning to have a child through in vitro fertilization or surrogacy.
“I might do it after my birthday. Sabi kasi ng doctor dapat well-rested ka pag gusto mong magpa harvest ng egg. I really want to have my own child,” she ended. Jenny just finished two TV series, “The Fake Life” (GMA 7) and “2 Good 2 Be True.”
