Hop Inn Hotel Transitions To Solar Power; Strengthens Commitment To Sustainable Stays

June 04, 2025 (Manila, Philippines) – In celebration of World Environment Day, Hop Inn Hotel Philippines, a leading budget hotel brand, announces its initial rollout of solar panel installations across four key properties in Metro Manila: Aseana City, Alabang, Ortigas Center, and Ermita. This move supports the brand’s corporate responsibility campaign, SAVE OUR PLANET, and represents a meaningful step in lowering its carbon footprint and energy dependency.

“This effort is a consistent step in our vision to offer sustainable stays across our properties,” shares Kirill Mokronosov, Senior Vice President for International Operations. “Utilizing clean and renewable energy is one of the many small but meaningful steps we take toward more responsible hospitality. We hope that through efforts like this, Hop Inn Hotel can contribute to practical and scalable sustainability—encouraging both businesses and travelers to make more mindful choices for the environment.”

Hop Inn has long supported sustainability efforts by promoting non-plastic usage in the hotels, use of bulk amenities, and installation of free water refilling stations. The impact of its water and resources conservation efforts, such as the housekeeping opt-out and towel reuse programs, is further amplified through partnership with NGOs, the beneficiaries of the hotel’s regular donation drive of repurposed towels and linen.

This phase reflects Hop Inn Hotel’s consistent commitment to strengthening best practices—delivering affordable, eco-conscious hospitality to every guest.
